Rex was born July 21st in West Palm Beach Florida. Rex started playing guitar at the early age of 6 years old.....Finding his first guitar in a garbage can at a neighbors house, busted up and, in need of repair. Rex began to repair the old Sear's Silvertone flat top guitar until it could be played!!
Through the years Rex has played in many bands all too many to list, from touring bands to recording bands!!
Rex grew up with notable players such as Peter Stroud, of Cheryl Crow and others. Rex has toured and recorded most of his life, and never looking back continues today!
"I remember thinking in the late 70's if I ever get a chance to play with Pat Travers, then I will have done what I set out to do!" Rex and Pat have played many shows through the years and expect to see more!
Rex has released 3 records to date, with his band, the last being recorded for Alexa Records, titled Rex Rodgers. Rex is currently working on a new CD and should be released in late 2006.......Stay tuned for more!!!
